Jade Cottage - Ennis

I was very disappointed with my meal at this restaurant. I ordered the fillet of beef curry, but instead they fried a steak and poured curry sauce over it. The chips were soggy, the soup was not good, and the spring rolls were overcooked. The only thing I enjoyed was the boiled rice. I used to eat here frequently in the past, but I will not be returning.

What can I say about Jade Cottage except , it's staff friendly and helpful.Its food is delicious and fresh. You can find this gem in Rossleavin Shopping Center .

This is by far my best Chinese food experience that I've had in county Clare. We went as a birthday celebration at the end of last year, and it being the middle of the day, there was nobody else dining at all, so we had a beautiful private meal. The outside is extremely deceiving. It looks very small from outside, but the interior is huge. The tables are set extremely far apart so even when full I imagine it is still private. The interior decoration is beautiful, you really feel as though you've stepped out of some Ennis car park and right into China. The intricate wood work and other decor really makes the interior attractive. The table service then is amazing. As the food came, a very nice waitress brought the good, set our plates and cutlery and put food from the centre plate onto each of our plates in front of us. It made it so much more personal. The menu is beautiful. It's filled with Chinese food I haven't heard of, and customers are certainly spoiled for choice. The food took a bit of time to come, but when it arrived it was very clear as to why. The food looked beautiful. Like the kitchen staff out all their efforts into making our food look perfect. Everything was clean. There wasn't a drop of stray sauce. The veg and lettuces were fresh, super fresh, like they'd just been picked. The prices again are very reasonable. If you want an amazing Chinese food experience, go here before anywhere else.
