Galo Chargrill - Enniscorthy

We absolutely loved this cozy little restaurant! It was our favorite out of the three restaurants we tried in Enniscorthy. The food was delicious, especially the skewers with a fun presentation, and the piri piri sauce had just the right amount of heat. The dishes were both healthy and flavorful, with a variety of sides to choose from other than just chips. The Spanish wine selection was impressive. We enjoyed the chicken peri peri and lamb cutlets - both were fantastic choices!

Been here 4 times now. Great food every time surf and turf highly recommended. Portuguese wine menu is very reasonable. 10/10

Were staying out in the country on a break away from Dublin and travelled in with the kids for a meal. First of all, the food was incredible. My wife's lamb was perfection. Kids loved their grub and gotta say the fries were to die for. Had a couple of issues with the service in that our waitress put my order in the waste paper bin by accident (easily done) as i have a very forgettable face. But when pasta came it was delicious. The host couldnt do enough for us after that and we were treated to free desserts and a glass of wine each. So redeemed almost completely but couldn't justify 5 star service unfortunately. But as i said, food could not be faulted and you know you ate in a caring kitchen when they ask how you like your lamb cooked. A great find to be honest. Even found us a table when fully booked. Would go back. Prices are higher but understandable considering the quality.
