There are dishes for all tastes and their daily executive menu is consistently delicious, as well as very affordable. The warmth of the service is the icing on the cake, the service is fast and the place is very cozy and its atmosphere is peaceful. I have invited several non-vegetarian/vegan people, and they are always delighted. This restaurant is a 20 out of 10. Vegetarian options: I've been going for years and they are all delicious. There is everything from fast food, lasagna, steak, pasta, and my favorite, vegan ajiaco; That last one has nothing to envy of one with chicken. The executive lunches are super complete, balanced in flavors and textures, truly an option that never disappoints.
My buddy chose this spot for our early dinner on a Friday around 4:30PM. I had no problem finding the place, it is in a semi busy area, and it has a gate and a nice outdoor seating area. When I got there, there was a long table filled with what looked like early teen schoolkids and their teacher. Doing some school work, it seemed like. Wholesome stuff. It was a nice reminder that despite the... uhhm shall we say difficult history... CHILDREN are the future of this country. The restaurant has some art pieces, the ambience was nice, the waiter was nice and gracious. He spoke a little English, and he seemed excited to practice with us, much to my low key delight/amusement and appreciation (I rarely run into folks like this in Barranquilla). One important note: throughout our time there, they kept the slow/soft music down to a reasonable volume. Maybe it was because of the student group meeting, but I 'd like to think that this is how they keep it all the time Low enough that guests can hear each other speak WITHOUT SHOUTING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS AND GETTING MIGRAINES Anyway... THANK YOU to the management for this. If this is how it is all the time, I might go back here just for the ambiance, honestly. Ah, IF ONLY the food was as tasty as the photos make them out to be I ordered the simple mixto platter shown in this photo. It was all well cooked, with nice and smooth textures, including the plant based meat patties. While undoubtedly nutritious, and it all felt good in my mouth... it was quite bland to me. I had to pull out my hot sauce (which I carry around especially for situations like this) I asked the waiter for some ketchup and salt, which he brought me. I also asked for some brown sugar, in order to give the coconut juice some life . Overall, the waiter earned his tip, because these additions helped me choke down the food. Even though I didn 't like the food itself, I still gave this place 5 stars because they really did nothing wrong ! The food is pretty typical Costeño fare... meaning it 's bland and damn near flavor less (especially to West Africans or anyone accustomed to stronger flavors). It would make sense that their main customers are budget conscious locals who also happen to be vegetarian. Hopefully you can go to this restaurant, try it for yourself, and make up your own mind. Objectively, IT 'S GOOD FOOD for a GOOD PRICE, but just not for me
This place is our favorite for vegetarian food, I recommend it 100%, they sell lunches, they sell normal dishes, it's very good at a good price. Service: Delivery Meal type: Lunch Price per person: COP 20,000–30,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A nice experience: it really was a pleasant surprise, a place that perhaps few know but with a great variety of vegan dishes. It has 2 spaces; an outdoor terrace and an internal space with air conditioning, today we ordered a salchipapa and a Churrasco, really good. The salchipapa with crispy potatoes, the flavor of the vegan sausage is very good as well as the quality of the sauces that accompany the salchipapa. We must say that the steak was surprising, good size and with a balanced flavor, accompanied by potatoes and salad. The place is highly recommended, all those looking for vegan and gluten free options will love this place.
