El Charro - Ensenada

I was on holiday with my family and stop eating when my friend took a bite from his eating (enchiladas) and found 2 long fingernails in his eating. we were all disgusting and they gave us a hard time, as if we had brought the nails. even after they saw my friend vomiting. do not hear

We always have at least one meal here when we are in Ensenada. The chicken is superb and the staff is very friendly. My personal favorite is the chicken soup...total perfection. The fresh homemade tortillas are the best.

Love their chicken and fresh tortillas. Salsa good too. My Mom loves their Mole. Nice quiet , clean restaurant on main strip.

We were 3 years ago at el charro on a fast cruise stop-off and never forget the experience. this restaurant is located on one of the main trains (1st street) only blocks from the shuttle pickup drop off. we were drawn. because of the hand made tortillas and roast chicken we could see through the window. we went in to discover a beautiful and pretty restaurant. there are many seats that can accommodate large groups. we felt welcome and were good to watch. had the guacamole, a few wonderful margaritas and shared a plate with three elements. everything was fresh and hot! we ordered the flan they've been making for 40 years, and my wife says, "best she ever had"! the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. make sure to look around. I hope to be back here.

We have a local recomendation at this place. it is a beautiful Rotisserie chicken place. we had half the huh, molhuh, and the Mexican trio that was taco, enchilada and something else. the chickens were all really good and came with fresh before place and made tortillas. also the Mexican plate was very good. service was not very attentive, but it is no more expensive place so we had no high expectations
