The first time I went 6 months ago, I told myself I would never go back. Today I decided that I would try again and man, it was a completely different experience. Chef John, serves some really great food and gives you a small spoon to taste if you want to try something he serves. I'll say that I had lobster grilled cheese sandwiches from east to west and hands down, his are by far the best. The shrimp cocktail is served with huge shrimps, cocktail sauce and a lemon. The tempura shirmp is huge and smells like something from a fair and brings back childhood memories. Needless to say, our meal was delicious and delicious. The operator is very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu options, but Kwan goes beyond and beyond as a server and friendly face! I'm definitely glad I had a second attempt!
We have read so many reviews and originally wanted to visit the Palace Station, but they have heard? ll be waiting at least one hour, no matter when you go. So we chose South Point for the half oysters. My heart was put on borillas and pan roasts, but my stomach could only handle a little small. Luckily, they offer half-price oysters and shells and a few small items from 11 am to 4 pm under $15. We started with half a dozen shells and oysters. It was our first time to eat raw shells and eat my fiancée the first time raw oysters! It was the blue dot oysters that is small sweet with a salty finish. I'll need him to have a do-over because I don't think this oyster should be the one to pop your virgin taste bud. It must be plump, sweet and creamy. The shells are known to be a little sweeter, but I prefer oysters. We got horseradish and cocktail sauce. I prefer mignonette sauce. We shared the Pacific coast shrimp rice dish, which is basically tomato sauce over brown rice with shrimps. Had a little kick for the Wasabi. It is a great place to put in a little small and inexpensive and to use half oysters and shells. Otherwise there's nothing to drive home.
We were looking for a place with good oysters. The oysters were super small and tasted as if they had been frozen. The rest of the food was okay. We won't be back for the oysters.
Very fresh large oysters flown in from New Orleans! Happy hour from 11- 4pm daily with half off raw oysters and clams. We got the happy hour dozen raw oysters. They were very fresh and tender, just like earlier this year when we had them in New Orleans. Very fast and friendly service. There was no line at 1pm. This is now our go to place for raw oysters in Vegas.
