I had been to Rang Mahal a couple of years ago and enjoyed the experience so was happy to return again, this time with a Living Social voucher. We really enjoyed our meal - everything we chose was delicious and after 3 courses we were so full. The voucher had clearly spelt out what items on the menu were available to select and we had no problem that seafood (a more expensive item) was not included with a very well priced voucher deal. We really enjoyed the Gulab Jamun for dessert and the gentleman there was very proud that they were made at the restaurant and not pre-purchased from the markets.Service was good and friendly. It was a wet Tuesday evening so only one other group dining plus a few people wandered in and out for take away orders. We wouldn't hesitate to return to sample some of the other items on the well-priced menu.Last time we were here a few years ago it was BYO and licensed but now it is just BYO.
So tasty and yummy love to come again good service as it should be and on top off all good food plz try
Ordered takeaway. Promised raita green sauce over the phone and even though requested it not one included at all. Dried out, shrivelled tandoori prawns, dry tandoori chicken. Disappointing. Main course ok, nothing special. Very expensive for what we got. Also a bed of raw onions came with every entree. Yuk!
We have visited this place before but the food kept getting bad to worse. The worst was the naan was like raw dough, the paneer butter masala tasted like a can of tomato with raw chilli flakes! It was just bad!
