Cafe 154 - Epping Forest

The ambiance of the cafe has greatly improved with its warmth, but the staff are still unfriendly. There was little interaction when I placed my order at the counter, and none when my plate was collected or delivered. The steak pudding I had was mediocre, but the cafe itself was very clean and spacious. The coffee was hot and creamy.

The sweet chili chicken sandwich was huge and packed with filling. The coffee was delicious as well. The service was excellent and the meal was great value for the price.

The restaurant caters to the employees of the industrial area, so there is limited parking available. The interior of the restaurant is simple, with some windows open to let out cooking smells, making it a bit cold. We had to eat with our coats on, which is not something we typically do. The service is quick but not very friendly. The food is nicely presented but only mediocre. I may come back in the summer when it's warmer.

Our experience in the smiths restaurant was fantastic for a special annual day. large team of servier / bar staff/front of the house and amazing selection of food. allergies were treated with great significance, for which I was very grateful. the food was wonderful! I look forward to another visit very soon

Always eat very nice here, even for gluten-free included brot, which is always a nice note! only grip is sometimes the waiter waitress can constantly try to sell them drinks when they have already said no. would definitely recommend if for a nice opportunity went out of the way to a birthday platter egg surprise!
