The Rabbits Pub - Epping Forest

Me and my partner enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch here today, I even ate my parsnips! Staff were all lovely and looked after us very well! Pub is in a stunning location and very cosy with an open fire! Looking forward to coming back soon

We were on our way out towards Epping for dinner, from Hornchurch, when we passed this pub and decided to save ourselves some time and give it a go. We're very glad we did, the ladies ordered pies, I had the red curry and my son had a burger. All of the food was spot on and the landlady couldn't do enough for us despite having a few people in the bar watching the England World Cup game. Thanks, we'll definitely be back now we know where you are.

The food was decent, but I was disappointed by the experience at the pub as I had heard many great recommendations. However, the views were good and the service from the waiters was excellent.

This restaurant is a great option for a family birthday celebration. We arrived a bit early, but the staff quickly seated us at our table without any issues. The service was excellent, we didn't feel rushed but also didn't have to wait long. The deep-fried bratwurst I started with was cooked perfectly and the main course was delicious. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals as well. The total cost came out to about £34 per person for a group of 4, which is a bit pricey, but considering the quality of the food and service, it felt like a reasonable price.
