Wirtshaus Christoffel - Erfurt

We landed here spontaneously and randomly and did not regret it. The ambience is beautifully medieval and the food really very good. Therefore, we can only recommend it with conviction.

Good food and a wide variety of food and drinks. Were there two times during our Erfurt stay, the first time around 18:30. There we were placed on a table with several strangers, unfortunately, hardly any distance could be observed. The Christoffel record had ordered us for 2 people. This was brought to us quickly. Very tasty from totally sufficient. On the second day we were there at 16:30 and had a table for us alone. Have waited for the menu almost 20 minutes after we had them we should order everything directly. The food was then waiting for 40 minutes. All in all, it was a good place to go to eat, as the food tastes good and is relatively inexpensive. A point deduction for the framework conditions (place, distance, waiting time on day 2. On the first evening, a “traveling craftsman” came to the restaurant and begged every guest after money and did not leave if not every guest gave it. In my eyes very inappropriate and totally unpleasant, but started from the restaurant.

Something different. Service very nice and trembling. The food abundant, fresh and inexpensive super. Something loud, but it fits into the whole atmosphere of the knights and bards. Thanks for the nice evening.

We were very surprised by the location. Because we picked a restaurant for good luck on Google. That we found the best restaurant we've ever eaten, we wouldn't have thought. The meat was fantastic, the price unbeatable and the hospitality very, very friendly. We were only in Thuringia for the weekend and visited Erfurt for the evening, but it was worth it. And the restaurant is definitely worth a quick trip.

Exceptional ambience and very good kitchen! Rarely eaten so delicious. Meat was very good, but there are also many good vegetarian alternatives. The portions are huge, you really have to bring great hunger. The price-performance ratio is also unbeatable.
