Barbato's Italian Restaurant - Erie

I eat just about anything, and don’t complain. But man…this pizza was by far the worst I’ve ever had. Cheap should have been my first clue. But it was just so BLAND. The crust was just about burnt and it was like eating cardboard. We also ordered garlic pepperoni ‘balls’. What we received was very strange and didn’t taste good. It looked like garlic bread that they throw a slice or two of pepperoni on….that just fall off in the bag. I was just very disappointed since we had a staff member at our hotel recommend them.

Horrible pizza. We started burping within 45 minutes of eating a couple pieces of a cheese and pepperoni barbarian pizza. Now puking ?? The overwhelming flavor of fake parm. cheese is extremely off putting. I absolutely regret sharing this pizza with my friends. Sincerely hoping that they don't get I'll also?

Very quaint, old school place. Hadn’t visited in 8 years when I’d visited Erie. However, our experience then was good enough that it stood out which is why I remembered and decided to go back. Even almost a decade later, it still didn’t miss!

BarbatosRestaurant Always has been and still is our favorite Italian restaurant/pizza shop in Erie PA. Today we enjoyed their delicious Italian wedding soup and some very tasty subs. This is a hidden gem that everyone needs to try. You won 't be disappointed...I promise. Right by the casino and hotels so it 's a great lunch or dinner option that you will Love! ?

Fantastic food, excellent service, and a cozy comfortable dining space. Vegetarian options: Italian veggie sub, any pizza can be vegetarian. Parking: Parking lot in front of restaurant.
