M Cafe - Erie

This one is a pleasant surprise for the little town or Erie PA, as most of our previous experience with local eating establishments have been so-so. M Cafe was a delightful little surprise. Wait staff was attentive without being overly chummy. The food was a another pleasant surprise. My sea scallop special was delightfully tasty, although it was rather heavy handed in the spicing department. My wife's fish was also quite good albeit over-cooked. What is it with Erie PA and their penchant for cooking fish till it is petrified? Again, going a little easier on the flavoring and salt would have significantly improved taste. However, overall, it was a delightful experience. Would come back again.... but bro... go light on the sauce!

The service was great! Very attentive and pleasant!! The food was the best that we've had yet in Erie! We will definitely be back!

It has been a few years since we have been here but I’m so glad we decided to come back! We all had a great meal and are looking forward to returning again soon. Great ambiance, good drinks excellent food! Our server was very attentive friendly too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at M Cafe. The food and service were excellent and the restaurant was very accommodating to our requests. The tuna and scallops were superlative. We sat outside with our pups and we’re treated well by everyone.

While we have been to the M Cafe several times, our friends from Texas were first time diners. They loved the food and the quiet atmosphere that allows for easy conversation. We always enjoy our experience.
