Angelo's Northwood Villa

I visited today for the first time with the Monroe Thrift Shop for our Christmas dinner. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, and it was delicious! However, I thought the salad could have been improved. The chicken was tender, and the gravy was fantastic. I didn’t see a menu since everything was offered at a fixed price, so I’m not sure about the individual prices. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added to the atmosphere. The service was excellent. I might consider coming back again in the future. By the way, the pork chops that some of the others ordered were huge and looked great too. Have a wonderful day!

Give it a try for lunch or during quieter hours. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting and cozy.

We dined at Angelo's on New Year's Eve, and it was one of the worst dinner experiences we've ever had! We made a reservation for 7:00 PM, but we had to wait until nearly 9:15 PM to be seated! They had overbooked the restaurant terribly. Once we were finally seated, the staff took our order and brought out our soups, but just a few minutes later, they served our entire meal. The steaks were cold, and the baked potatoes looked like they had been sitting around for a couple of days—stale and starchy. To top it off, the prices had skyrocketed—it cost us $80 for two subpar meals. We usually rave about Angelo's because we've had great experiences there in the past, but after this, we won't be returning. It was truly the worst dinner we've ever had.

This is by far the best resturant in Erie and Toledo area. I just love going to Angelos and having dinner. I have NEVER had a bad meal there.
