The coffee at this restaurant is amazing! The atmosphere is also very welcoming and enjoyable. The staff is lovely and friendly.
Okay, okay, okay, I know you're upset that I've never been here before.
I used to come here all the time and it's got nice gardens with a water fountain. If you are looking for a cafe away from it all this is a good spot. Make sure you pop into the Distillery next door as you can do tastings and it's really good.
Stopped in for a weekday lunch. Very inviting spot tucked away in the bushes. Inside the cottage we found the cafe. The setting is great although it was freezing inside with air con so went outside and found all tables and chairs quite dirty.A bit disappointed to find the lunch menu is very limited. 4 dishes in all and and 1 was not available. So we got the raw zucchini Alfredo and chicken melt. Raw zucchini was ok although smother in a lot of cashew nut sauce. But the melt was quite ordinary mashed up sort of tinned chicken on some bread. On the positive what is done well was the mochas, chocolates and raw cakes. These were great. With a slightly better done lunch menu this place could be a real destination. But for now it just felt a bit wasted.
