The Coffee Club Erina Fair

Popped it for a bite to eat. Ordered 2 coffees, omelette with chorizo, tomato and basil and pesto chicken with feta, tomato and pumpkin on a toasted pita. The coffees arrived, but sadly, we waited 30 minutes for our meal. When the meal arrived, the omelette was barely warm and only 2 small leaves of basil for the whole omelette and the chorizo was rock hard ..... way over cooked and the chicken and pesto did not have any feta cheese. It was replaced by melted cheese and the pumpkin was not cooked. It was hard and the chicken was supposed to be grilled but clearly it was pre packed chicken heated in the microwave which turned it into rubber. Will not be back to this Coffee Club. Find another restaurant.

The chef/cook was obviously not in the mood to please. The simple dishes were hurriedly "put together" hence they neither looked or tasted appealing. The young waitress was doing a wonderful job but it did not compensate for the meals.

Thought we'd have lunch with the menu boasting fresh crisp ingredients instead we are very disappointed. There were ingredients that were stated yet missing while those that did make the plate were either straight out of a packet with no added love or what looked like it had been re-heated. When you pay $18.90 for a salad you expect fresh ingredients.

Thought it would be good because it was 230pm and not many people around. My french toast arrived with no maple syrup on it, our soft drinks weren't cold so they gave us a glass with ice, and my partner's beef and becon burger came with onion on it (not described as an ingredient) and no spicy aioli (which is specifically stated as an ingredient ). Plus they managed to remove about 70% of the flavour from the halloumi. The ladies beside us had finished their lunch and a staff member tried to clear their table and they were like "Um, we are still waiting for our coffee and water!". Not eating here again.

Coffee and Chai Latte very good, so was cake for morning tea between shopping.Quick service! Typical Coffee Club place, nearly full on on the Saturday morning.
