Sigwarts Kulisse - Erlangen

You want no-nonsense food, friendly staff, and good value? Try this place. The menu is pretty basic, although one or two unexpected dishes, the portions are well-sized, and the service is efficient with chatty pleasant staff. We were a group of four and all enjoyed their food (I can recommend the mixed grill if you want to go heavy on meat). They have a n interesting selection of spirits but wine comes only by the glass. The total bill for us, which included three courses and a reasonable amount of alcohol was less than €150. Added benefit: it's located in the nicest part of Erlangen. Just be aware: if you come by car, parking in the immediate vicinity (Theaterplatz) is difficult in the peak evening hours.

Found this little gem when strolling around Erlangen looking for a restaurant. From the outside it looks smaller than it is. It has a few tables outside. Beer is great. Food is a nice combination of local and european food. Try the Coq-au-vin. I thought it's great. A great place to spend an afternoon or evening.

We had drinks before the theater and dinner after the theater. Although we did not have reservations, we were welcomed and accommodations were made for us. The food was good. And we thoroughly appreciated the service.

Wonderfully original guest house with tradition in Erlangen. From domestic dishes to slightly Mediterranean dishes you will find here. A wide range of tumblers. The service was very good and you felt very comfortable. Prices were very good.
