Econo Lodge - Erlanger

Absolutely horrible. We arrived and our hotel room door was wide open, someone near by said they saw the door open hours before as well. We walk in and it reeks of cigarettes (which we did expect) but it reeked of MOLD!! It smelt wet and moldy. There was stains on the beds , both beds. The lampshades had stains on it. The blankets had burn marks and holes in it.We went to ask for a refund and to just go stay at another hotel, instead of refunding me they charged my card a second time, making my credit card balance over my limit. So now I was charged 2 times for 1 room that we didn’t want. Finally they said they refunded me, it took 14 days to get those charges off of my card. I had to go pay off my card so that it wasn’t over the balance anymore.

The area is cooly because how it sits, But The photos online Do Not match the room, the photos were so much more glamorous, He was scared to use the microwave but at least the night clerk was cooly.Rooms: Not that clean.

Overall definitely a solid hotel. Nice staff, totally stocked with everything you’d need for a weekend or a couple days away. It’s clean and the rooms have a microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and a decent little flat screen tv. Decor is pretty cool too. Super cool picture on the wall of the US with the states made up of license plates from that state. Nice little duck off.

The room was pretty spotless the TV remote wouldn 't allow me to scroll through the guide so it would take awhile to find a show to watch the location is OK you can get anywhere from it but traffic is always crazy in the surrounding area until 3am and the service wasn 't great the person running the counter was a little rude my keycard for my door didn 't work so I had to go back to the lobby and get a new one and the person was a little snippy saying I just made that in an aggressive tone like I for sure wanted to walk all the way back over to my vehicle with all my luggage and come back to the office but all in all it was an alright placeNearby activities: Newport aquarium was the reason I went with econolodge only 15 minutes from it
