Canyon Country Lodge - Escalante

We loved this hotel! They provided everything we needed for a great stay to explore Escalante Staircase National Monument. The restaurant, pool, gym and free breakfast were especially great. Highly recommend!

Was expecting average small-town Hotel, what we got was a five-star Hotel. Large rooms, big screen TV with all the channels, great A/C, Clean. Quiet, Large Walkin Shower, The Hotel is lined with Southern Utah art works. Free Breakfast, Restaurant in the Hotel. Friendly Staff, Large Pool and Hot Tub.

Beautiful lodge looking hotel. Clean, soft sheets and large room. The shower was a large tiled shower. We would recommend this hotel!! Continental breakfast was adequate and typical for hotel. The owner was present much of the time and staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is truly a luxury hotel, but goes beyond that. We arrived fairly late in the evening when all other guests were probably drifting to sleep and the entrance was lit up so beautifully and welcoming- even better than the pictures online attempt to convey. We walked in the door and were given the VIP treatment that characterized the rest of our stay. I also spotted the beautifully decorated lobby where I knew I was going spend the first part of my morning enjoying my tea and the stunning view and writing this review. The basic double queen bed room was spacious and well-decorated, and smelled fresh and clean and with quality linens. The bathroom was stunning. The breakfast area had options for my whole family and made sure we were filled up and ready to continue on our journey. My only regret is that we couldn't stay here more than one night. Thank you to the owners and staff of this beautiful lodge for your culture of small town service and treating us like friends coming to stay at your beautiful home!

I stayed her shortly after its opening and recently stayed again. It still feels brand new. It is so well taken care of and extremely clean. The staff were great to work with and went out of their way to help make sure our stay was enjoyable.
