I couldn't stop ordering the Reubensky one, much to the annoyance of the staff:) The food is amazing, the people are very nice, and I will definitely be back whenever I visit Escalante or Bryce. I highly recommend trying the chili dog and coleslaw as a topping or side, as it has a nice kick. The mac and cheese dog was perfect for my 1.5-year-old, and the bison was also delicious. If you order one of the wild game options, I suggest getting a side of blue cabbage for garnish - a nice touch. For breakfast, the biscuits and gravy were fantastic, and their apple pie is downright delicious.
This restaurant is a must-try! I was a little unsure at first because I didn't think there was much that could be done to improve a hot dog. I was pleasantly surprised. The hot dogs here are incredibly tasty and satisfying. They expertly blend flavors to create something more than just a typical hot dog. If I lived nearby, I would definitely stop by frequently. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. Even my one-year-old enjoyed petting their friendly dog. Kid-friendly: A relaxed and cozy atmosphere with a friendly puppy.
I recently enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Ranch Dog Cafe. My husband ordered the Reubenski and I tried the Dinosaur Dog with bacon and coleslaw - both dishes were exceptional. We highly recommend this spot to everyone. We even had the opportunity to chat with the owner and learn about how the restaurant got started. We will definitely be returning to eat here again.
An outstanding find!! The food was delicious and hot when served. As a special treat, they had fresh cinnamon rolls. Delicious!!
One of the best post bike ride or hike lunches is a sausage! Had their beef and pork version with sauerkraut and added chopped jalapeños(they were fresh so a bit milder than I like but still good). Super friendly service and plenty of outdoor seating and some nice indoor if that is your preference. Prices are more than reasonable for the area.
