We arrived early (typically English and were met by the chef who offered us a glass of wine, apologised that he couldn 't cook for us until the rest of the staff arrived, and proceeded to entertain us for the rest of the evening. Carlos speaks very good English and likes to practise it. His style of cooking is far from the standard bar food we had experienced elsewhere. As we were on the fixed menu there was no choice, but he did ask us beforehand if there was anything we disliked or couldn 't eat. (Much mirth that my husband is allergic to bananas! . Our starter was a baked local cheese served with a tomato salad. Absolutely delicious. This was followed by a really unusual dish of slow-cooked pork 'elbow ' (knuckle? served on a miniature spit over a dish of roast/fried potatoes over candles. The heat from the candles made the fat from the pork drip on to the potatoes. Really tasty! On our menu there was no dessert but we did get coffee and a local drink to finish off. The nicest thing about the whole evening was how welcome we were made to feel. If you 're in the area do go and visit. This was one of our most memorable evenings on the camino.
Good month to share abundant rations and at good price. very close to the humidity of the tretus river. repeating are doubts
We've gone a couple of times and the truth that I have many drips, the guys who attend to it are super-amenable. I repeat fixed.
Excellent attention, a place with a very crowded atmosphere by foreign and national tourists. oted can eat both on the terrace and the kindness of the workers provides all the necessary attention to keep visiting constantly. the place is located in a place quite pleasant and pleasant with the nature of cantabria.
