Greatly located castle with a fantastic view! The walls are massive and the residential tower is accessible. A journey of discovery into the Middle Ages. Unfortunately, on this sunny autumn day, a lot of people had the same idea of having a little something to eat in the restaurant. So we had to wait a very long time. But the only chef really did his best!!! Visited on: Weekend

From the town of Eschbach with its sights, the Madenburg can be easily reached via the forest path. The view is worth exploring the castle/castle. To get to know and love the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve.

Interesting castle ruins...leaves a lot of scope for the imagination.
