Gourmet Wok - Escondido

I did not enjoy my experience at this restaurant at all. The soup was overly watery and unpleasantly large. The interior of the restaurant appeared old and shabby, and the customer service was lacking.

Delicious dishes like honey walnut shrimp, cashew chicken, orange chicken, and sizzling rice soup made for a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no dine-in option available, but the food is worth coming back for. The restaurant is located in a strip mall behind IHOP and is a small but inviting place.

The food at this restaurant is pretty good and inexpensive, but the portions are on the smaller side. It may not be the best option out there, but there aren't many alternatives to choose from. I would give it three stars, but it would definitely deserve four stars if the portion sizes were a bit bigger.

I have been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. The food is reasonably priced, is always made fast, and above all is delicious. I personally think it's the best Chinese place in town, no question. Every member of the family that works there have been some of the nicest people I've ever met. I definitely recommend anyone reading this to go check it out!
