Didn't feel rushed to eat and leave, though they were closing and cleaning up. Definitely coming back! So appreciate the meal especially because we were exhausted and really hungry!
Okay diner but really really really slow service. Milkshakes are decent but overpriced and menu is typical diner food and expensive. Sorry that a small business is closing, but honestly Robert Irvine couldn't save this place.
I understand she's closing down this Friday ! I've always enjoyed going here , food has always been pretty decent, however this past Saturday, took my grandson here for breakfast, they seated us at there counter , where we could see the young kid who busses the tables with a bleeding finger , due to the fact he said he cut it on the dishwasher, gross . Then got a diet drink , that was poured from a 2 litter , not a big deal , but completely flat , asked for syrup for some French toast , and was told , it was already sweet enough . Got to hear conversations between the two young servers , how Suzy the owner gets to sit down with all her customers and BS while there hard at work . All in All , sorry to see her business close, but even if she stayed open , wouldn't go back ! Due to the fact , food wasn't good , and service was terrible!
I understand this place is closing soon but at some point the wheels are gonna fall off. Servers were stressed outta their minds (don't blame them) due to lack of management and ownership. All the sodas came from bottled liters. Post it notes all over the place. Jail seems more calm. Was just me and my wife for breakfast ended having a $60 bill for French toast and eggs. GOOD RIDDANCE SUZY Q's.
We absolutely loved this place...the food had soo much love in it we were very happily surprised. The servers were delightful and sooo sweet! We were sad to see the business is closing...but could immediately see why it is closing . The women in charge seemed very stressed out (probably because the business is closing) but what we saw was a leader who didn't give her employees a chance to be great . She was instantly assuming they were going to mess things up she was buzzing around doing the things she thought they should be doing ...instead of giving them a chance to forget things and learn from them. We tried to tell here the employees were awesome and she immediately started telling us they were lazy and never remembered what she told them to do ...she said she would write things down and the employees would never remember. It's hard to work hard for a person that already thinks you have failed , and starts doing the job for you before you have a chance to do the thing they needs to be done.
