Wonderful enormous sub sandwich. I especially enjoy the Vermonter. Quality is worth waiting for. Freshly sliced Boars Head deli meats and cheeses on freshly baked breads!

Being a local business owner in Essex Jct, I eat here at least once a week. The variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads in the case make it easy to eat there so often, without eating the same the thing twice for a long time. It’s hard deciding if I have my regular BLT (which has so much bacon) with cheese and hot pepper relish, or the classic Benny: a roast beef style sandwich with onions, and melted cheese. Often times in a hurry, a large order of Italian pasta salad, or chicken pasta salad is enough to fill me up, and get me back to work. The staff is friendly, the food amazing, and the atmosphere inviting. You won’t regret going to Martones.

Google Review Rating: I used to visit [Sandwich Shop Name] in [Town Name] regularly, often taking my business partners there for meetings and treating myself to a special lunch. However, my recent experience was the worst I have ever had at a restaurant. When I visited, Amelio took my order at the counter. Shockingly, they had no bread to make sandwiches at a sandwich shop! When I expressed my disappointment, multiple staff members, including those preparing food, began to berate me. They were extremely disrespectful and rude, openly expressing that they did not want my business. The manager joined in on this customer bashing, showing no concern for my satisfaction. The entire staff's attitude was appalling. They did not care about my experience or happiness. I left feeling stressed, horrible, and hungry. I will never return, and I caution anyone considering this place. If you want to leave happy, relaxed, and satisfied, look elsewhere.
