Grill At Great Marsh - Essex

We stopped in to have a drink after going on the Essex River Tour (highly recommend) and doing some antique-shopping/browsing. Our phones were having a little trouble due to dying batteries and they didn't have a paper menu! I know everything is going high tech, but a back-up menu is a great idea for older folks, people without smart phones or with the battery dying, and storms. We didn't end up eating there, but kind of wish we had. I think it would have been better than where we did go, but the inability to look at a menu sort of did that in. By the time we logged into their wi-fi, the battery died.

A must visit at least once!! A small tap room with great tasting beer, hard seltzer’s, pizza and pretzels. Such friendly fun staff!!

Decent pub food and friendly service. The beer is generally good definitely better than Truenorth, but not as good as something like Trillium or Treehouse.

This place has shut down. I called and they were closing. They are closed every day sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo don't bother!

This place is one of the best on the north shore. Have yet to have a bad meal there and don't think I will. I have been there like 10 times service excellent food to die for with so many flavors
