Mark Bbq - Essex

I discovered this restaurant through Google, and overall, it was a great experience. The brisket was delicious, and the ribs were meaty, although they were a bit on the cold side. The pulled pork was lean, and the sausage had a nice, clean flavor. The two sauces worked well together. My wife enjoyed the red potato salad and mac and cheese. The atmosphere had a cozy, picnic vibe. The staff was very friendly, and I appreciated the military discount they offered.

The pulled pork is incredibly tender and has a slightly fatty texture, which enhances its flavor, so definitely don’t shy away from it. The brisket is also excellent; make sure to try it with their unique Maple Bourbon BBQ sauce – it’s truly delicious! You can't visit Vermont without trying the maple flavor! The sauce known as "Crack Sauce" lives up to its name, so be cautious – it’s addictively good! This place is the top choice for southern BBQ in Vermont, and it's very affordable. I visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago after hearing a lot of positive reviews. The brisket was exceptional, and the pork was quite good too. However, the ribs didn’t live up to my expectations. As someone who enjoys smoking and BBQ myself, I understand that the quality can vary from time to time. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and the restaurant had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Their homemade BBQ sauces were quite tasty as well. I will definitely return in the future, and I recommend giving it a try if you’re a fan of BBQ!

Excellent! We ordered a large order of KC Burnt Ends, Pulled Pig, Mac and Cheese and bbq beans for a party. Everything was ready in isolated packages and everyone loved it. Very good. And generous portions. We will order 100% again.

Heard great things about the bbq here. They didn't disappoint, we tried the chefs sampler with cowboy beans and enjoyed it for 2 days. Called ahead and was ready when I arrived and was greeted by a very personable young lady
