Pho Dang Vietnamese Cafe - Essex

The Vietnamese food here is excellent, and I highly recommend it. It's just a short drive from Burlington.

The food remains fantastic, which is why I keep returning. However, the service has really declined. The owner appears almost annoyed that you’re at the restaurant, practically throwing the menus at you. They serve water without ice, and it's lukewarm, especially disappointing on a summer day. It also seemed like the air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly.

Best pho I've every had. Very traditional selection. Owed and run by a local Vietnamese family. Generous portions and reasonable prices. You will not leave hungry! Recommend you try the rare beef and meatball pho! We eat here with the family whenever we're in the Burlington Winnooski area.

The food here is fantastic! Some of my favorite dishes in the area make it tough to choose between the pho and their incredible house special fried rice. The service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable.
