For me, the starter of cold cucumber soup with diced herring was the outstanding item: refreshing and delicious. The husband loved his starter of tartar of herring and the son had no complaints about his Maultaschen. For the main course they had the Schweinhaxe, which they thoroughly enjoyed. I had a small portion of the roast pork with Semmelknoedel, which was good. The ground floor dining room is very smart and modern. Going downstairs to the toilets, you go through the old-fashioned Keller, which smelled rather damp. The service was efficient but we were rather perturbed by all the laughter and chatter coming from the kitchen. Not that we think the staff shouldn't enjoy their work, but the fun in the kitchen is why I'm giving 3 rather than 4 stars for service. Three starters, three main courses, three beers, an Apfelschorle and two coffees came to €91.90.
I was there on a normal weekday to eat with colleagues. the eating of my colleagues was quite in the frame of the price-performance ratio. my bark fillet was completely out of any justification. there were maximum (sufficiently estimated) 170g meat with 5)!( bars spatula and 3)!( kartoffeln. nearly 35€ (!) cost the culinary experience. even if it has tasted well; good is not sufficient in such a case. I got the answer "I'm right, that's why I've made the day recommendation." not recommended by me.
Very cozy, typical of the area. the beer is a special feature of the restaurant, where you can visit the brewery whose production is 80% for the restaurant. There are four types of beers starting from gradations under 5 to 28°, without chemical preservatives. I drank the weiss, great, to try absolutely. I ate everything based on white aspararagi, both the soup and the main dish characterized by 6 white asparagus, potatoes and sauce that was fine to us. Other dishes such as appetizer (ravioloni and salad) and as main dish (the classic Milanese, other types of meat and trout). All very nice, I will come back
We have spent a very nice evening in the buzz. the very professional service has always given us perfect care without being intrusive. I had a very excellent beard soup as an appetizer. after that my wife and I both had the cordon bleu. the calf was super tasty, only the cheese could have been more meaningful. alone the size of the portion could have been a bit more lush. the not too huge cordon bleu was accompanied by a just a little small but fine potato-grain salad. was also the in-house fairytale. more. also the light colour of the lighting might be a bit more friendly (so more warm white), so that the delicious food and the people look better at the table.
Very friendly and attentive staff, very good food. the bier tastes excellent, the spatial areas spread a pleasant atmosphere
