The place is beautiful, the excellent cuisine and the owners are wonderful people, always friendly and available in satisfying the requests of their customers!Esterzili is a place full of naturalistic and archaeological richness!I recommend to all to go to visit it and stay in the beautiful Borgo dei Carbonai, which is also provided with splendid suites cured in every detail.

In an area of Sardinia that could offer so much, the only positive note was to stop in this oasis of tranquility. Found by chance on a warm and desert Monday, on a tour of the area, we happened in the village of carbonai, which I must say remains un advertised compared to other restaurants found closed in full high season. You arrive along the road that goes from Villanova Tulo to Sadali, more or less in half there is a road on the right with a sign that seems more to indicate one of those trucks that in the state sell fruit. After taking more than 2km you will arrive at the station of bettili stage of the green train that passes in the area and immediately below is the hotel restaurant that in the eyes has a strong impact. Lovely place where absolute silence reigns. My group made up of 4 people without having booked and arrived around 14, has created no problem to the staff, who during the preparation time gave us free access to the various rooms to evaluate the place. In a very familiar environment we consumed a plentiful meal and cooked discreetly, value for money, very good. We spent 4 hours between lunch visiting the pond below and afternoon rest with view of the valley. Ultimately a quiet place to spend a few days resting from everyday stress, the only regret, having found it the last day of vacation!
