It's housed in an unremarkable old building and the decor inside has seen better days but somehow this added to the charm. When we were seated we were one of only two tables occupied but all that changed rapidly. They just about coped with the influx of people and the service at our table was satisfactory. Just a word of warning though there was no English spoken here but I am pretty sure that you could still get by with pointing as the staff were very willing. We had a lamb targine which was excellent and reasonably priced. It was a rather strang quirky experience but my wife and I both liked it and would certainly go again.
For lunch,we enjoyed a delicious vegetables couscous and a chicken pastilla. The tastes remembered us of a visit we paid to Fez in 2009. Very sweet memories!
Having visited Morocco in February we were transported back there when we had a meal here recently. The decor and ambiance could not be faulted. The starters and main courses were perfect. The Moroccan wine was excellent value. We had tagines as main courses and these were just as we had had in Marrakesh. Excellent and helpful waiters. If you want authentic Morrocan food then visit this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
