Moxie's Grill Bar Dixon Road

Started off not understanding my order of appetizer dry ribs had to explain a few times it was no a half rack or a full rack. I have been to Moxie’s lots of times never an issue. Order the steak salad it comes almost raw. I tried the first bite the cut of meat was like Hubba Bubba gum. Sent it back. Honestly no one asked me how I would like the steak which was the worst cut of meat you can buy. You attempted this dish and wanted to charge 26.50 for a steak salad. At least put a half decent cut of 5oz of beef

Expensive. The tip and taxes are a lot on top of the inflated price. The food was good. The rest was average.

We came for a family birthday event. The beginning of the dinner experience would be described as moderately okay. It was a long wait initially to get a server, a few items ordered wasn’t brought to the table, and the birthday person’s meal was cold, but then the general manager came to the table and turned the experience around COMPLETELY at least that’s what we thought initially. He came back to the table several times to make sure everything was going well moving forward. The cold food was changed and the birthday person tasted it again and no good. However, when the server came back to give the bill to the table and after paying, we soon realized that we were CHARGED for a meal that we didn’t completely eat and ultimately that didn’t taste good. It was the birthday person’s dinner and the birthday person was never offered a substitution meal. No dinner and then for the rest of the night, the birthday person was the only one who suffered from tummy pains and after effects of bad food. We would never recommend this location to my close circle, and the birthday person was super disappointed in the overall service.

The server was attentive but not pushy. In fact, they weren't busy so the restaurant allowed friends who hadn't seen each other for 3 years. We are so appreciative. Thank you.

Lovely ladies lunch at Moxies. Great seating by the large windows at the back and enjoyed the natural light. The Tuna Poke Bowl was absolutely delicious as was the Tuna Sushi Stack. Our wonderful waitress Wendy recommended The Goat Lady Chardonnay (Speck Bros Family Tree VQA) which is not a wine we would normally order, but so happy happy I did because it paired beautifully with our meal and certainly did not disappoint. Wendy also accommodated a friend with a dietary restriction which was appreciated. Highly recommend Moxies and look forward to a return visit.
