Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Etobicoke

This was my first visit to a Popeyes, and I was quite impressed. The location is convenient, with ample parking available both on-site and on the nearby streets. The interior has a warm and inviting atmosphere, showing that the franchise has invested thought into its layout and design. The food itself is delicious. I learned from the owners that they use two different batters, so if you order a variety of items, each will have a unique flavor profile. This variety is great for avoiding flavor fatigue. The Cajun fries are exceptional—spicy and packed with flavor. There are several sauce options; I tried the blackened ranch, and it was just as tasty as it sounds. I will definitely be returning to try more items from the menu!

I placed a pickup order through the app for a time 15 minutes after ordering. I arrived five minutes later than the scheduled ready time and ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes. Growing impatient, I approached the staff, only to discover that my order wasn't even on the board. They told me it would take another 10 minutes. After 20 more minutes, I saw a fresh batch of chicken being prepared, but my order still wasn't being packed. When I spoke to the staff again, that was when my order finally got packed. I understand that it can get busy, but this was really poor order management. I shouldn't have had to intervene twice, and the total wait time ended up being 40 minutes past the expected ready time.

This is by far the slowest Popeyes I've ever visited. I've been to this location numerous times since I live nearby. Over the past year, 9 out of 10 times, I've had to wait over 15 minutes for my order. There are two staff members, including the store manager, just standing by the food counter and not doing anything to assist with the backlog. It doesn't seem to be getting any better.

I ordered 3 order of 3 piece chicken. I bought on my way from work to home for family. I waited 13 minutes as it was cooking. Chicken was full of salt, I eat more salt then usual people. But when I started eating I couldn?t. I spit out. I was very disappointed. I called to this store to explain what happened. I was not looking for free meals. But, quality is not good. I would never go to this place where there is not any standard of making products. Sad sad sad.

Incredibly poor service times. Placed a mobile order at 8:16 pm. Reachedbthe restaurant at 8:25pm. Finally recieved my order at 9:19pm. It should not take 1 hour to make 2 burgers and 3 pieces of chicken. As someone who has worked at fast food restaurants, I can say that it wasn't even busy. I would suggest making the 10 minute walk to the other lake shore location. You will actually save time.
