Had a group of 17, started with some pan garlic bread, then ordered the Holy smoke bbq burger, with sweet potato fries, burgers tasted great the fries where a bit on the soft side but very tasty. Washed it down with some Sapporo draft beer and ended the meal with a coffee. Overall I would highly recommend Jack’s, seeing as I came here in the days when their famous garlic bread was free!Wheelchair accessibility: They do have accessible parking all around the restaurants in this area.

Came in for the afternoon with reservation made and didn’t have a great experience. Our experience at jack astors was extremely disappointing today and for multiple reasons.As soon as the food arrived, the food portions were noticeably smaller from the many times we have come to jacks within the past year. Whenever going to jacks, I would order the wings knowing I could justify the already higher than regular pricing, because jacks wings were known to be significantly bigger, juicy, and fulfilling. Today, the wings seemed miniature compared to what we have been used to.It seemed like everything had shrunk in portion size for every meal. The bow ties pasta meal was always known to be one of the greater “bang for your buck” options on the menu, always having a big enough portion to still have left over to take home. But todays portion wasn’t even large enough to leave our young children satiated and still needing more food. It made the meals completely not worth their price point.When planning to come to jacks today, one of the reasons we were excited to come was for the truffle fries. We were extremely disappointed when we were served a bowl with very little fries and even less truffle topping to the point that we couldn’t tell the difference between them and regular fries.Aside from portions being much less then they once were, our service was definitely lacking. It seemed as if there was very little attention to detail. Having ordered the wings, they were ordered dressed with buffalo sauce. When it arrived, it arrived plain with no sauce at all even though the server dropped it, stating it was buffalo wings, meaning it was on the ticket left with the plate on the service window for expo. We then had to settle for less and had to wait for buffalo sauce to be sent on the side, that I had to pour myself.Another detail missed was just laying orders down in front of any open space. With having specific seating assignments and orders coordinating to each seat, we were expecting to at least get what we ordered at least close to or announced to us so we can help ensure we all received our correct orders. Instead, food was just dropped wherever and people had different burgers, not knowing what’s inside and no announcements being made as to which burger was which, people ended up eating the wrong orders. Not realizing till mid meal on our own accord, we had to ask t whether we had the correct meals. Thankfully we were offered a remake, but unfortunately the burger wasn’t expedited, no hands attended to the meal, and when the burger was ready on expo window, I had to ask to have someone check on the order to serve it. Our guest who had the remake ended up eating last after everyone else was already done their meals.In the past, even in the last visits earlier this year, refills were known to be free for the fountain soda drinks. So when we wanted a refill, we asked “are their refills for the drink?” And all servers just nodded their head. It wasn’t till receiving the bill that we found out we were charged for full complete drinks of another 3.99 each. These were not specially made drinks, they were regular fountain drinks that come from a bag of syrup mixed with water and value less then a quarter a glass, we don’t even get to keep the glassLastly one of the most frustrating parts of our experience was being rushed out of the table before we were even done our meals. In the middle of our meals, many servers and event hosts were clearing dishes even if weren’t finish with them and hunting to find something else to take off. This ended up discouraging some of our guests from eating and well before they were done. I myself, literally hand my hand in my plate as I was eating when our server put their hands on the same plate trying to take away. I had to stop them and ensure them I was still eating the food on the plate. Because of this we didn’t even bother to think about dessert because at this point we wanted to leave the restaurant.With that being said, after this, we we’re disappointed

Not having been to Jack Astor's in a long time I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was as they changed the menu and I was not familiar it. The presentation was good, the food was very tasty, cooked just right and served at the right temperature. I would definitely go again.

Late night dinner with the hubby. We were given a seat but I asked if we could get the seat in the corner. The table was dirty (as in not been cleaned up from previous guests). So I asked if it could be cleaned. We were told yes but a few minutes went by and nothing happened. I approached the individual that seated us about it and he asked a fellow server. He came over and asked if everything was ok. I said it will be once the table is cleaned. Once he was all cleaned we were able to sit down and get comfortable. Our server, who cleaned the table was Christian. He introduced himself and he said he and another associate would be our servers. He then took our drink orders and upon his returned he apologized if he gave some attitude when he first came to the table. I have never had that happen ever. I thanked him and explained that was a first and I appreciate him doing so. I also told him he is allowed to have moments like that and that his shift will be over soon and he would leave and enjoy the night. Anyway the rest of the night went very smoothly. Our drinks and meal came out right on time. Christian came back to the table to check in and he was always polite and friendly. I really enjoyed this experience because of him. He made my night. Keep up the amazing job Christian. I would definitely recommend this location if Christian is working.
