It was really good. The corn was obviously frozen but hadn't been sitting around ... it was hot and crispy. The chicken was hot and tender. The roll was warm and the sauce was hot and tasty.<br/ <br/ My server was efficient but not friendly ... she perked up when it came time to pay the bill, though.
Great Experience!. We had come here on a Sunday evening at around 5:30 pm. When we walked-in, there was quite a bit of a line-up however, the remaining members of our party had already been seated therefore, we joined them at the booth where they were seated upon walking-in.<br/ <br/ Once we were seated, we noticed that there were already menus on the table. After about five minutes, our server came to greet us and ask if we wanted anything to drink. I settled on Hot Water, while the remaining members of our party settled on Beer and Cold Water.<br/ <br/ After we had settled-in, we browsed the menu to choose our items. They had quite a bit of items available however, I settled on the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich, with a side order of French Fries. The others in our party settled on various other dishes such as the Shrimp, Rice, Chicken, and Ribs. <br/ <br/ We had to wait about fifteen minutes for all of our dishes to arrive. Once they had arrived, we were starving therefore, we dug-in immediately. The Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich was a bit dry however, when dipped in the Chalet Sauce, it was divine! Also, the French Fries were nice and hot (temperature-wise), just the way they should be. <br/ <br/ I also had the chance to try the Ribs which were immaculate, falling off of the bone with just the perfect amount of sauce. Those were the best Ribs that I had ever tasted at any Swiss Chalet location! The Chalet Sauce came piping hot, and was gone very quickly as it was that delicious (without that sauce, it would be difficult for me to visit Swiss Chalet as I love it that much).<br/ <br/ Once we were finished our meal, we had asked the server to bring over our bill, which came out to about $110 for the five of us. We found this to be a reasonable price considering that we had ordered Beer and five large meals, along with a few sides as well. We did notice that there was a mistaken on the bill where Sweet Potato Fries were charged instead of regular French Fries however, the server changed that immediately, making us feel at ease with the discrepancy.<br/ <br/ All in all, I would surely be back to this location. I found that the atmosphere was great, with the servers coming out to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to a few people in the restaurant. Also, our server was great, always with a smile, and acting quite professional and welcoming. Not to mention the food, which was the best that I had ever had at any Swiss Chalet location. Well-done Swiss Chalet, keep up the great work!
Swiss Chalet Shorncliffe Dundas Etobicoke. One of the best run franchises in west etobicoke east mississauga. and I eat at alot of them. It has very well cooked and well seasoned chicken and well prepared fries not soggy or over cooked. A great Bar Dine in area which is my preference over the dining room area.
The Swiss chalet has been a quarterly stable for decades. always great service, lots of food, hot, energetic and beautiful presented. good covid protocols. thank you.
Only spent $55.00 on two chicken flours by uber eats. that was nothing less rough and disgusting. it is obvious that the hunch was longer on the rotisserie for way than it should be. I had to remove edible pieces from the otherwise leathery, dry, tasty bites. they managed a swallow under-cooked rice. the pommes were at best mediocre. the two broth rolls and zesarsalate were the only redemption factor. but I'm pretty sure I'm rolling two and a subsized salate for less than $55.00 I used to be a fan, but will stick with nandos from now on.
