Had brunch with a friend and loved the mushroom bruschetta. Lucky to get a table as it was a busy morning. A great addition to Ettalong ????

This really is a great café and the coffee is incredibly good. I just wish they had some more "normal" non-experimental food on the menu. With bacon marinated in coffee, its a bit hippy dippy for my liking.Apart from some food indiscretions, its worth a visit.Whilst you are there, check out the new Gelato Bar next door - Yum !

My family and I had breakfast here this morning. The first thing you'll notice about the place will be the vibrant themes based on rock n roll, skull art and Frida Kahlo. The place isn't that big but we managed to find a table for 4 with 2 kids for breakfast. I had the Eggs Benny two ways which comes with salmon and bacon. Luck had it they ran out of salmon but was equally happy with a double dose of premium bacon. Yes everything tastes fresh and was really tasty, beautifully presented as well on black coloured dishes.Everybody else had the smashed avocado which doesn't come with egg by default. The smashed avo was really nice and had a hint of chilli, with beetroot powder which gave it a unique taste. The only downside for the smashed avocado that it was a bit small. Coffee, probably the best you can get here for sure. Overall the service was great and fast. And enjoyed the food.

Nice coffee, however considering the limited menu, it does take a while to order. No shelter outside, I would not want to sit outside on a hot summers day! Coffee is nice, made by yet another hipster barista with facial hair...yawn! Yes, they have cold drip filtered and paleo options...what is the go with the snow pea sprouts on my plain buttered sourdough? I'm confused, then I remember...it's hipster. Righto!Would be nice if the owner didn't make you feel like you'd overstayed your welcome, by constantly fussing with plates, cups and asking if there's anything else you would like to order. On the way out, it would also be customary for those behind the counter to look-up and say, thanks guys, etc., however the two hipster/barista's were too busy comparing tattoo's and piercings and how awesome their cold drip filtered coffee is!
