Countryside Pizza Grill - Eugene

I absolutely love this place! The salads are fantastic, my kids enjoy the pizza, and Michelle is our favorite server—she's so sweet and incredibly organized, making you feel right at home. It's the perfect spot for a family meal!

The best pizza and the largest chef salad I've ever enjoyed! I really love sitting outside in the covered pavilion, ordering drinks during Happy Hour, and indulging in the delicious food from Countryside. This place fulfills all my culinary desires perfectly.

I also tried the salsa that came on the side; it had great flavor but was a bit too spicy for my sensitive palate. My dining companion thoroughly enjoyed the country breakfast; they savored every bite. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! I’ve attached pictures of the meal. Unfortunately, Debra wasn't around this time, but our servers were both very pleasant. I’ve dined here multiple times with friends and thought I’d already reviewed it, so I apologize for that! I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here, including pizza, and have never encountered a bad meal or service. I’ve also enjoyed Happy Hour at the attached bar, where I’ve watched various bands and danced the night away. While I don’t drink alcohol, my friends say the drinks during Happy Hour are quite strong. Today, we opted for breakfast since my son’s wife wasn’t here yet. My Country Benedict was fantastic! The blue cheese crumbles were fresh and creamy, unlike the tart and bland versions I’ve had at other places. The Hollandaise sauce here is the best I’ve tasted in town, and I plan to ask for extra next time because it’s just that good. The crispy bacon atop my Benedict was perfect, and the chef nailed the way I like my eggs cooked. I always request hard-boiled eggs, and it’s rare for chefs to accommodate that, so I usually have to send orders back, which I really dislike. Debra, our server, was a joy to interact with and also made sure my eggs were cooked just the way I like them. The English muffins were perfectly toasted, so when I took bites of my delicious Benedict, I didn’t have to fight with overly bready texture as I have at other restaurants. The hash browns were expertly prepared—crispy without being dry— featuring little bits of grilled onion that added a nice flavor. We all ordered decaf coffee, and I'm curious about the roaster since it was strong and flavorful. My son ordered a shrimp omelet with added onions and no tomatoes, and he had Hollandaise sauce with a side of sausage gravy for his home fries. His home fries were nicely soft, not like the sad, dry potatoes he’s had elsewhere. Here, they add onions and bell peppers, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also got a handmade cookie that he said was delicious. My daughter-in-law built her own omelet with cheese, spinach, and linguica. She had the same biscuit and sausage gravy as my son and reported that she liked everything as well. Debra mentioned she was new, but you wouldn’t know it; she was an absolute pleasure to work with. This restaurant has been a staple in Eugene, and I wish more people would give it a try. As I mentioned, I’ve had a variety of meals here, and I’ve never been disappointed. For those who follow my reviews, I’m happy to report a Sneeze-o-Meter score of zero, meaning no chemicals, artificial ingredients, preservatives, or strange additives were used in creating the fantastic food here! I hope you’ll come and try it for yourself—you’re bound to become a regular!

I absolutely love this night crew! They are so fun to order from, they are not skimpy on our drinks, and the food is delicious! My husband and I have only been able to come a few times do to our work schedule. But we never miss a chance if we have one! We can be 30 minutes to closing and they still treat us right. Highly recommend!
