Amazing! I tried the Brisket Reuben sandwich with a side of strawberry apple salad and both were delicious. It's a shame that this unique dish can't be found elsewhere in the area. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closing next week. Hopefully, the brewery that owns the restaurant will continue to offer some of the special dishes that make this place so great. The atmosphere is fun and the staff are always wonderful.
This place is great! The staff is friendly and efficient. I ordered online and was in and out in no time. The fries were delicious and the Rueben sandwich was amazing. The place was packed with people playing competitive darts, so I was glad I ordered to-go.
What a fantastic local establishment! Terrific food, delicious beer, and wonderful craft cocktails! The chef shows his passion for delicious food with every bite. We had a holiday dinner event here and from the appetizers to the desert, the attention to detail with every bite was evident! Chef James absolutely delivered on an over the top meal that had every person talking about it for the next few days. Mariah mixed the drinks and was knowledgeable and efficient about all things beverage! Also, on a side note, they make their own root beer and it is spectacular!!!
I was really looking forward to a pint and a meal at Falling Sky while visiting Eugene. I met a friend, but the sign out front said, Closed for Private Event. Sure looked like nobody was in there. We should have taken it as an omen and went someplace else, but I was hankerin ' some Falling Sky. We went to the Pour House Deli. Mistake. I asked about the other location. The cashier said they are short staffed so don 't open until later in the day. Too bad the sign didn 't say that. The Shwarzbeer was good. Since we were at the deli rather than the brewery, I decided to go for the Reuben with house-made corned beef. It was supposed to come with a side. They charged me extra for the side. WTF? The sandwich wasn 't even that good, and it was a bit soggy by the time they served it. I was grateful they had outdoor seating. It was like an ice box in the restaurant, and they had some truly awful music playing way too loud. Yeah, we should have just left before ordering. Neither of us felt all that well after we ate. I am sad to say I don 't think I 'll go back. It used to be so good. They also used to have specials. No specials were offered, and the prices sure seemed a lot higher than I remember. Lesson learned the hard way. I 'll be back in Eugene in the next month or so. I miss many of the dining options from when I was there more often. Now there 's one that I don 't reckon I 'll keep on that list.
