Glenwood - Eugene

I highly recommend trying their Golden Lattes! As for vegetarian options, they offer a great selection of both vegetarian and vegan dishes.

The food was delicious; however, the service left much to be desired. The waiter seemed to pay more attention to other tables and when I requested a soda and a water refill, I never received them. I could easily spend my money elsewhere, like at Brails, where the waitstaff is more attentive. Unfortunately, the waiter earns zero stars from me. I shouldn't have to ask twice for a simple water or soda refill. To top it off, even though the food was tasty, I've come down with food poisoning, and the only place I ate at was your restaurant.

Wonderful breakfast spot with a wide range of choices for everyone, whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or an omnivore. The food was absolutely delicious! I particularly loved the "home fries," which are actually perfectly fried potatoes, thinly sliced and crisped to perfection. So tasty! I ordered the avocado and kale scramble—it’s a fantastic way to incorporate some greens into your morning. For those interested in vegetarian options, this place is fantastic as long as you're okay with eggs. They may even offer an egg substitute.

Our daughter graduated from the University of Oregon in 2013. We loved going to brunch and dinner at the Glenwood Restaurant at the location by the university. We found out that they closed that location and were very sad. However, we recently visited Eugene and tried the location on Willamette. We were worried that it would not feel the same as when it was in the old house by the university. We were pleasantly surprised. It has a great atmosphere with very cute tables. There were also places to sit outside. The service was as good as ever. Many of servers had been there for years. In the three days we were in Eugene, we ate brunch there two times. We got the salmon cream cheese scramble one day and I got the kale and avocado scramble and my husband got the Mile-High scramble. The potatoes were amazing and they also had very good whole wheat bread from the Harvest Bakery. They serve the Glenwood Blend from Cafetto Coffee. We found this coffee the first time we visited Eugene in 2009 and have ordered it online ever since. My only complaint is that they don't serve dinner, but I understand. Thank you Glenwood for being as amazing as ever!!! Everything is how I remembered it!
