The food is mostly delicious, although I would prefer smaller portions of carbs at a lower price, especially considering the rise in obesity and diabetes. I believe more restaurants should offer a diabetic-friendly menu. The staff is friendly and efficient. The smothered chicken was tasty but too much for me, I would prefer a smaller piece with the toppings. The green beans were delicious. My friend enjoyed the chicken alfredo, but felt it had too much chicken and carbs. The salad was basic with only lettuce, onion, and tomato. I don't like raw onion, so I suggest it be chopped up. It's great that they offer avocado, but it should not be an extra charge. Cucumber should be an option instead of onion. Another friend had the taco salad, which was good but had a larger shell than necessary. It would be helpful to have non-spicy options, such as salsa. The meatloaf was too spicy for me and should be indicated on the menu for those sensitive to spices. The outside was overcooked, and the ketchup should be caramelized while baking. The beef brisket was great, but the au jus was too salty sometimes. The breakfast options are good, although there are too many potatoes for those on a low-carb diet. The home fries are delicious, but it's easy to overindulge. The sweet potatoes I had once were overcooked and not their usual color. I appreciate that they offer honey mustard sauce. The corned beef hash was too salty. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was mixed.
I love Mandy's! It's a hidden gem of a restaurant. Every dish is delicious. I haven't tried a single plate that I didn't like. The service is excellent. I highly recommend it!
Delicious foods and a wide variety to choose from for breakfast, lunch and; though I've yet to try it, dinner. An asset to the Eugene food scene. Definitely great breakfast and lunches!! Large portions at great prices. Fast and really friendly service.
Quaint family restaurant. Country chic interior. Serves breakfast, lunches and dinner. The wife and I went for breakfast. The service was outstanding. Drinks ordered and delivered promptly. The cups were large enough that I never finished it. Food wasdelivered hot. Can't ask for anymore. The breakfasts ordered were delicious, had large portions but with one minor complaint, the country potatoes. It was not what I was expecting. So ask questions, do not assume. Otherwise a pleasant experience whiletraveling.
My family visited Mandy's for Father's Day and it was our first time at this restaurant. We chose Mandy's because they offer breakfast all day. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Mandy who was professional and friendly. We were seated promptly and our server provided excellent service. Our party of five received our meals simultaneously, all of which were hot and accurate to our order. The pancakes were massive, making it impossible to finish two! The chili was tasty and the onion rings were crispy and light. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal with no complaints. As it was Father's Day, our drinks were complimentary. We will definitely return to Mandy's and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food at a reasonable price.
