Thirsty Lion Gastropub Grill Euless

I really enjoy going to Thirsty Lion! The atmosphere is nice and the service is excellent. The food is delicious and the portions are decent. However, I was slightly disappointed that the pan seared scallops, which I had been looking forward to trying, were unavailable at what I considered to be an early hour for a restaurant that promotes them as a featured item.

Appetizers were good. My wife's steak was very average for a $39 steak. Texas Road house is better. I got the Korean bbq pork with kimchee but there was no kimchee. We had a double fudge dessert and it had a lot of fudge but very little ice cream. We asked for more ice cream and were charged extra for the ice cream. Kind of a weak move. I should have asked her to give us a discount on the missing kimchee. It's the small details like that that will keep us from going back.

I recently had a business lunch at this restaurant with my coworkers and we all enjoyed the atmosphere during the lunch hour. We also loved the expertly made cocktails. It had been a while since I last visited Thirsty Lion before the pandemic, but this visit did not disappoint. I definitely plan on coming back soon!

First time here and we were all very pleased with the food and service. Would definitely go again.
