Bubba's Bbq - EUREKA SPRINGS

I wasn't sure whether to give this place 4 stars or 5, and then we had the key lime pie.

Friendly staff, good prices, ample portions. Homey atmosphere. I had the Cluck Squeal (sounds like a good time! 1/4 chicken and 1/4 slab of ribs. Both were well smoked. Ribs displayed a prominent smoke ring. Both had good smoke scent and taste. However, both also lacked noticeable seasoning. The sauces were unremarkable. The hot seemed to be red-colored vinegar, and the mild was workmanlike at best. Side beans and cole slaw also unremarkable. Ciabatta bread was fresh and soft. Special Gal had a Cuban sandwich, which she didn 't much care for until she added the mild sauce.

I hate leaving such a bad review. But this was the worst BBQ I've had. Everything was dry and tasteless. The coleslaw was all minced up like it was put threw a blender, so it was really mushy. And it didn't taste like coleslaw, just watery mayo. I had brisket, pork, ribs and chicken. Couldn't finish anything. Server was friendly though

This was excellent bbq! I could tell they put a lot of work into their food and it all came out perfectly! The homemade sauce was nice. My 2 favorites were the brisket and the ribs. The patio was very comfortable and dog friendly.

Whenever we are in Eureka Springs, we always make a point to stop at this restaurant. Today, the ribs were some of the best I have ever had anywhere. This is high praise coming from me, as I rarely pass up a BBQ place without trying it. The fries were also delicious, even though I don't usually eat potatoes. We only make it to Bubba's a couple times a year, so I allowed myself to indulge. Additionally, we always receive excellent service from the same sweet server whenever we visit. The staff as a whole is very friendly and welcoming.
