Cocina Mariposa - Eureka

Amazing flavors! I tried the surf and turf fries, and my sister had the quesabirria tacos. The spices used on the food are incredibly flavorful! The service was excellent as well. You can enjoy dining in or takeout, and there's a lovely covered terrace. I will definitely be going back to this place!

Amazing food and friendly staff. We eat here all the time, and we've never been disappointed. It is a very popular place with a small staff, so call with your order if you can. Make sure to check your Instagram for updates over hours and current specials! The owner often updates. 10/10 every time!!!!!!!!!!

This food is very good.. I usually don't talk about how good it is, how I eat, and there are only a handful of restaurants that are worth promoting several times a week. Can't become much more authentic and love seems definitely through food. The Baja Fish Tacos and Breakfast Burritos are the next level.

I usually steer clear of tacos because I often find them lacking, either being mediocre vegetable tacos or just beans and rice. However, the jackfruit tacos here are exceptional. Our orders are always accurate, no matter how specific my husband gets with his special requests. The owner and chef is fantastic and keeps everyone updated on any changes to hours on Instagram, so it’s a good idea to check that before making the drive—nothing is more disappointing than setting your heart on dining at Cocina Mariposa only to find they’re closed. I could easily go on and on about how much I love this restaurant!

This is one of best Mexican Restaurants in Humboldt County. From the chips to the entree everything is fresh and made from scratch. I had the enchiladas with rice and beans. My wife had the fried fish tacos. We will certainly be back to try more.
