The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting. It's truly one of the best BBQ places around. The owners and staff are very attentive, and I made sure to tip because they definitely deserve it. I’ve tried many BBQ joints, but I always find my way back to Porter Street. If you go, don’t miss the Tri-Tip and pastrami sandwich—they are packed with flavor. We were on a trek back from Gold Coast, Oregon to Ventura County, California and chased some BBQ, so we stopped. I ordered the thanks of Burger, who had a 1/4 liter tri-tip above. I really enjoyed the burger. The tri-tip was cut thin and had a ton of BBQ taste. The herbal beef soup was also thick, filled with potatoes, carrots, corn and tri-tip cut into handleable pieces. It is not the most traditional BBQ community, but definitely worth a visit and we will definitely stop on our next trip. Thanks for an unforgettable visit!
