Bistrot De Pays - Eus

Just stopped for drinks whilst exploring the lovely village of Eus, nice shady seating area, lovely coffee and other drinks, quick service and a really great view.

We had been walking around Eus for a while and could smell delicious food. Naturally it was lunch time so we tracked it down. Staff were very friendly, food choices were great and the Rose was divine. Such a great location in a tiny square in the middle of this historic town. Also loved the church and artisan's gift shop.

Awful service! It took forever to get service with it only coming after I went into the kitchen. Then they became angry and hostile shouting that we were treating it as a waiting room . They had lots of staff and hardly any customers. Simply inompetent and no idea of customer service. One to avoid.

After three years away (due to covid restrictions) we came back to this charming petit restaurant in Eus. However, lunch was poor and a bit expensive. It was deceptive because it has lost most of its authenticity. Hope they will change this approach.

Located in the beautiful village of Eus, this restaurant should have the perfect setup for a family lunch. Unfortunately, it took us almost 2 hours to get a few crepes and a salad. Waiter is awfully arrogant. This is a shame, the food is actually good.
