Sammy's Restaurant - Evansburg

The days of can't-stop-reaching-for-another-piece-of-chicken are back!Remember when fried chicken was addictive crunchy tasty moist goodness?Sammy's food is another reason Entwistle and Evansburg are the best places to live! Or at least to make a stop while driving by on the Yellowhead... Call ahead and pickup for great road-trip chicken to-go!When did we think to make deep fried chicken healthy, anyway:) Enjoy!

We stop here every time we go to Vancouver and have breakfast.there prices are reasonable and portions are large.i would recommend any of the foods on the morning menu.we stopped today for the first time to try their dinner menu.the pasta I ordered was terrible.i was very disappointed and surprised that my meal was so bad.i hope this was just a bad night for the cook.

Ordered takeout. Chicken fingers, grilled chicken burger and mushroom burger. Food was ok, fresh lettuce, decent meal for takeout. Prices are on par to today's economy. I'd order again

Sammy's Diner along hwy. 16 at Entwistle is very tasty and portions are very good! My husband always gets the donair and says it's delicious! I usually just have chicken and fries but they are the best fries around! Have eaten here 4 times now and haven't been disappointed yet! You can eat in the diner or go through the drive thru!

This little "town" is just a wide spot in the road and would be hard to miss but DON'T DO IT!! First, the Sammy and the other server were just nice as could be! He was so patient as I made my way through the menu board that took up the whole wall and explained everything. The Donair ( like a gyro) was amazing and large. My husbands Canadian burger had a tasty sauce and Canadian bacon and we tried Poutine for the first time (artery-clogging for sure but very tasty!). Both of them checked on us a couple of times and when he found we were from way down south in the US, Sammy even gave us free ice cream cones! A great experience!
