Kabul House - Evanston

Kabul house has tasty eating when they are in the position to find out which items are vegan (or how to make the items vegan!) some servers are not 100% known about which products are vegan (be sure you are dealing with butter, honey, etc., but here is what I have learned so far: -the only vegan rice is the one with carrotse rysines (the other option ask for butter) the chump contains honey. overall, the eating is delicious and the portion sizes are huge (massive plate of rice, but they must be careful when ordering.

It takes a lot to get me over a restaurant or it is eating excited and yet today, kabul house managed to do both. I am vegan, and there was no lack of options. I ordered the plant qorma (sp on the very friendly and personable server recommended and it was phenomenal. serious. if they make milk products, they will find additional options as some veggie dishes contain yogurt. objects are not vegan marked, so they need to ask (come to think it should they probably confirm that the qorma is vegan when it is important to them how I have an educated assumption that it was.) as well as always, I cannot expect to go back to this place. I wish I could give it five stars, but it serves meat so I'm not allowed.
