What a jewel! delightful menu options and impeccable service. I can't wait to go back.

The food was beautifully presented and delicious, and they were very well served with my gluten. now my fave restaurant in evanston!

This place is so fantastic. the dishes are inventive (they will not see the usual pad-thai on this menu) and delicious. all servers are attentive, helpful and so knowledgeable about the food and drinks etc. the owners pay in the rule a visit to each table and check them how they enjoy their visit. at weekends it can be quite busy and a bit loud, but on week nights the place is somewhat less crowded and the room has a wonderful relaxed cozy atmosphere.

That was spectacular. very tasty. excellent amount of seasoning. sauces are easy. eating is very fresh. in particular sweet and fish are high quality.

My husband and I finally tried NaKorn after I had been eyeing the place for well over a year. I have a deep and abiding love for Thai food, there 's really no good reason that it took me this long to get there. Anyways, it happened to be Restaurant Week so there was a special prix fixe menu which was very fortuitous indeed as it let us sample more dishes at a bit of a discount. We tried the popcorn chicken (excellent) and the mushroom scallops for our appetizers, and then I got the seafood braised in coconut milk (basically a very seafood heavy Tom Kha soup) and hubs got the curry chicken all of it really delicious. I will pass on the scallops again they were OK, just didn 't blow me away (and when you say scallop I end up just wanting an actual scallop) but the popcorn chicken was EXCELLENT, the seafood was fresh and plentiful (and appropriately cooked the mussels were open and plump, not over cooked and shriveled like they tend to get) and the chicken was rich and flavorful without being dry (a true feat of expertise with chicken breasts). I had dessert but only a few bites because I was pretty full by that time. The drinks were delicious and well crafted; we are totally THOSE PEOPLE who do some pretty fancy mixology at home so we 're all picky and stuff. These cocktails cut muster for sure. Fantastic food for the price. Our only tiny qualm was waiting a bit for the check at the end of the night but that can be a moving target of expectations which I understand. We 're the kind of folks who are DONE when we are done though I know not everyone is like that. Service was friendly and attentive, space has a cool vibe and decor... there 's really nothing stopping you. Go!
