New Boston Tavern - Evanston

This place has some of the best food I have eaten!!

If your in to the local town legend style cooking this place is for you, it's hard to compare their chicken to anyone else around cause you can't, it's juciy, hot to order, and that flavor is amazing.

What an amazing breakfast, great food, excellent service. The service was not overbearing, and very friendly. And can you believe it, the tab was 21 and some change, and one of us has ribeye!

We may not have visited at the best time, but we traveled a long distance to dine at this restaurant for some of the area's top food. Unfortunately, there was only one employee handling everything, and while the appetizers were good, they were the highlight of the evening. The limited and constantly changing menu was a letdown for our group of four. To make matters worse, when we went to pay for our meal, they added a service charge for using a credit card and then struggled to reverse the transaction for those paying with cash. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.

While visiting Holiday World with our family, we had the pleasure of dining at the New Boston Tavern. Our group, including a couple from France, totaled 18 people. The owner warmly welcomed us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We look forward to returning on our next visit to the area. Thank you for the wonderful evening and delightful food!
