Wfm Coffee - Evanston

Curbside pickup is a total sweat. I check in 10 minutes before the app says they put my parking space when I arrive. then wait. 15 minutes are only waiting in my pick-up place. I go to the customer service counter to see why, and they say they are on him. Almost every time I make curly pickup, it is slow to a certain degree. Today I sat 15 minutes on my parking lot while my baby cries all the time. there was another time when my man had waited so long that he had to leave and came back later. I think it's time to look for other options.

Since Amazon bought WF, over time, WF has changed many deli recipes of prepared foods. I am no longer a customer. Simply, it's horrible and frankly disgusting. The Sonoma chicken salad, curry chicken salad, tuna salads and broccoli salad are inedible tasteless to the point I thought the food had spoiled. When I returned the food , the deli folks all said they've heard ongoing complaints from many customers. They had suggested to management to return to the old recipe. To no avail, their request had fallen on deaf ears. The only things that's changed is that I'm no longer a customer. My new go to:I love the deli at Valle's in Evanston Dempster Dodge . Among many scrumptious deli selections, they have the best Italian tuna ever! Their creamy cole slaw taste just like the original Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe. Oh, excuse me, I mean KFC!

HORRIBLE. Tonight for the second time we got home to find they'd substituted cheap cuts of meat for the expensive meat we'd bought 8.99 pound for 14.99 pound . We thought it was a mistake the first time but it seems like cheating customers is a company policy. Aaaand now it's Christmas eve with family coming over and no time to take it back. Besides which, they have never had enough employees since pre covid and I suspect they don't treat their employees great, by their demeanor.

I love this location! Spacious aisles, ample check outs and attractive displays of good stuff. I don't do all of our grocery shopping here due to the cost, yet there are select items that I like, and the Amazon Prime discount helps too. Great bakery and I love their red velvet cake, and mini creme brûlée and fruit tarts. Good selection of wine and cheeses too.

I have no problem with most of what this particular location does. Their staff are always friendly and the store is well stocked with good products. My one qualm is that their cookies are almost always stale as rocks. Like hope you have good dental insurance stale. I probably wouldn't bother leaving a review for something like this but it's such a weird oversight. I guess most of Whole Foods' clientele are not cookie people. It's the only place within walking distance where I can get cookies after my kids go to bed so I can't just ignore the issue.
