Great atmosphere, really neat selection of drinks and the iced tea was fresh brewed delicious. So far, the hot brown is a show stopper! Can't wait to try the fried green tomatoes. Posted about it on FB, and the next day several family members tried it and they all loved it just as much! This is one restaurant thatwas truly worth all of the hype! Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. We spent more because we couldn't resist the appetizers.
Way overpriced for what you get. Over $12 for a McDonald's size chicken biscuit with no sides. Little gravy. Just not a good experience. I will not be back. Too many other restaurants that give you a lot more for less. In response to your reply..my apologies for not using the proper sandwich name. Regardless of what you call it it was not that big. Plus at 12 bucks not worth it. I can get a more enjoyable meal for less with more at cracker barrel and many local restaurants. If there were sides with it then maybe. This is not way bigger by any means.
Really not very good. Ordered 2 sandwiches and the loaded tots. The food came out in unber 5 mins. However, the tots were barely warm, within a few minutes on the table they were room temperature. The bottom half of my biscuit was still raw dough. I took it up to the counter and was told that's how it is supposed to look. The food looked impressive but the taste was really bland.
I ordered the mama's boy biscuit sandwich. It was tasty. The pimento cheese on it with the fried green tomatoes definitely makes the sandwich. The pickles add a good crunch as well. Overall it was a decent experience. Great service. They do not have many options as far as soda; only coke and diet coke, and then some type of organic drinks, which I was not a fan of. With that being said, I would recommend eating here for anyone wanting to try something different.
So the novelty may have worn off but the food is better than ever. Went with some of my favorite people for lunch today. The gravy sampler is the best way to start imo. I tried the mushroom gravy for the first time and it is hands down the best gravy I?ve ever had and I don?t even like mushrooms. I went a little lighter with the Love Shack which is a vegetarian option: brie, honey, berry jam and pralines on an open-faced biscuit. We also tried the Edgy Veggie: fried greentomatoes, mushroom gravy, cheddar, over easy egg and the Hot Brown: turkey, smoked gouda mornay, bacon, roasted tomato. Usually when I think of biscuits I think of breakfast but they are serving up fire all day long. Whether you want lightand vegetarian or heavy and meaty they got a lil sumn for everyone. No lines, great service, outdoor seating if it?s ever not 112 degrees again. Don?t sleep on this place guys
