The flatbread resembled a pizza which is not quite what I expected but it tasted good, could have done with more pieces of pork belly though. The octopus was well cooked and tasty. Lovely ambience and nice place to relax.
I’ve been 3times in the past 3weeks, lunch menu food and service was as expected for a resturant. Friday after work drinks with colleagues was atrocious, had to keep following up with staff regarding the drinks and food ordered and clearing the empty glasses on the table. Perhaps should have learnt my lesson. My wife enjoys the Prawn linguine, booked a table of 6 food was nice as expected for market pricing, service was relative though drinks orders were botched 4x times and waiting period took too long. As a local I do hope they pick up the game.
Great location and their outdoor seating will be terrific come summer. Warm and friendly service. Reasonably priced wine list and beers by the pint. However, they will need to up their game to compete with the other kids along the strip when it comes to food. Pasta is not hard to cook, but the prawn linguine came out as a clumpy lumpy mess of overcooked linguine, too rich tomato sauce and not-quite-firm prawns. Tempura fish was fine. The highlight were the potato chips which were thick cute wedges of potato and very more-ish, but some kind of salad to accompany would have elevated things. Coffee game is strong.
